Tank and silo maintenance and repairs
We vigorously maintain ATI’s fleet of tanks and silos to the highest standards possible. This considerably extends the life of the units. Our policy for depreciation is straight line over 15 years. We are constantly updating our fleet to comply with the latest regulations.
Third party certifying authorities regularly inspect our fleet. We hydro test all our tanks after major repairs to the main containment structure, following engineer inspection.

Tank and silo cleaning
When you return a tank or silo to us it goes through a full cleaning process, inside and out. Our blast cleaning equipment delivers pressures up to 4500 psi, ensuring that every tank is fit and clean for purpose. We make sure all our operatives are up to date with confined space training and use atmosphere monitoring equipment while inside.
Any hazardous waste is disposed of by a registered waste carrier in accordance with Regulation 12 of the Waste (England and Wales) Regulations 2011. We can provide you with full cleanliness certificates before and after hire.
For extremely hazardous products, we work with local tank cleaning and waste removal companies who offer a complete package of cleaning.
Tank and silo painting
External finish: We can, if you wish, arrange for our team of experienced painters to paint tanks in your company’s corporate colours. Where possible, we will do all this in our own workshops.
Internal finish: If your project requires the tank or silo to have a specialist lining, we will deliver it to a local blast and paint shop for completion with all relevant certification regarding thickness and tank coat humidity.
