Fall Protection and Fall Arrest Systems

The maintenance of a building often involves working at height, when considering the upkeep of the roof or plant on the roof, such as air conditioning units. Ensuring a fall protection/fall arrest system is in place is imperative to avoid unnecessary risk to workers.

There are two main types of systems; fall protection, such as a parapet or fixed guardrail, or fall arrest, such as an anchor point, lanyard & harness.
