To stay ahead in todays fiercely competitive market, one must understand that the most important factors to electronic OEM’s and electrical system manufacturers are still functionality and cost reduction. When the cost difference between suppliers is negligable , then service, innovation, added value and guaranteed supply will win every time– giving OEM designers the ability to create innovative new products, and enter the market more quickly and at a minimum cost.
At Fibox, we have the capability to produce enclosure solutions involving minor variations of standard models or with major designs where close cooperation with our OEM customers engineering team to establish a detailed specification before prototypes are developed for final approval, leading to manufacture.
We call it the Fibox commitment to understanding the needs of our customers. All our products are designed in close cooperation with our customers. We use input from our global customer base to produce new enclosure ranges, useful accessories and on-going product improvements and enhancements.
Right from the very first discussions on application engineering, system development and the enclosure prototype solutions, we attach maximum importance to regular consultation with our customers.
Housings from the standard range of Fibox products are utilised wherever possible to minimise costs, but bespoke Polycarbonate, ABS or aluminium enclosures and Glass Reinforced Polyester (GRP) enclosures and cabinets have been designed and supplied in various shapes, sizes and colours where a particular corporate style or match is specified.
Over the last ten years many innovative changes have been introduced to the design of electrical and electronic enclosures, not least being basic material changes and improvements that have allowed the increased scope of non metal electrical enclosures to be installed across a much wider range of industrial applications. That, together with the the speed of wiring, population and installation now being called for, it means that plastic enclosures are now being used in some of the more extreme environments that were once entirely dominated by metal.
While these advances have made populating the enclosure faster for the end user, the largest area of growth for Fibox has been in taking the burden of simple assembly away from them and carrying out this work ourselves. This can be something as simple as fitting a few cable glands and terminals, or as complicated as fitting membrane keypads, PCB’s and bespoke internal metalwork. We can even supply the enclosure fully equipped and cartoned ready for our customers to sell on.
Continued product innovation and customer service is the foundation of our business and will be in the future. Added to this we continue to expand our already comprehensive customisation service to enable us to supply fully tailored enclosures to our customer’s exact specifications.
Highly customised enclosures are now available direct from FIBOX on manageable lead times. OEM’s and engineers can save time and money with access to our fast prototype service and take advantage of the facility to order ready modified enclosures in addition to standard products
With the essential flexibility to respond rapidly to the fast changing world of housings designed specifically to protect ever more sophisticated electronic and electrical devices, Fibox will deliver cost effective, reliable and technically advanced OEM solutions.
Fibox has developed a sophisticated quality system to assure our customers of the reliability and consistency of our products and our services. All aspects of our operations, from product design and development, to production and product delivery, are documented to ensure a high level of performance.
The Fibox quality system applies not only to product quality and safety, but also to availability of product, accuracy of shipments, technical support and customer service. The continued success of this program is assured by regular internal and independent external audits. |
