Predator on the prowl with new distributor |

| Predator, the UK’s leading tree Stump Grinder manufacturer, has appointed Oxfordshire based Arborplant as the new UK distributor for the range. |
 Arborplant takes over distribution from Redwood with immediate effect. The Predator range, which comprises five models, will be sold by Arborplant both direct and through a specialist dealer network throughout the UK and Europe. Arborplant’s Managing Director, Patrick Watts, says: “We’re extremely pleased to handle the distribution of the Predator range, which will now be even more competitively priced against imported machines, and we will be building a stronger dealer network for greater service and support.” Predator was designed specifically for the UK and European markets, offering a range of powerful, compact, mid-size self-propelled stump grinders. A key feature of the models is the variable width track, at 26” the narrowest in the world on a 28hp self propelled, for negotiating narrow accesses in back gardens. Power ranges from 28hp (20.8kW), 38hp (28.33 kW) and 50hp (37kW) to 75hp (55kW). All models have manual or radio control versions. The machines are fully hydraulic, featuring a wide slew and deep cut underground, easy maintenance and a low centre of gravity. Predator stump grinders are fitted with the unique MultiTip cutting system. The unique features are the ability to change teeth in about one minute, and each cutter wheel has twice as many cutting tips as comparable machines. New distributor Arborplant, which also hires and sells wood chippers and platforms, is actively seeking new dealers nation wide for the Predator range. |
