About us

High Precision CNC Turning and Milling manufacturers - Fully BS EN ISO 9001 : 2008 Certified - we have over 35 years experience in the sector, catering to many industries such as Medical, Hydraulics, Aerospace, Automated Manufacturing, Electronics and Prosthetics.

Due to the flexibility of our machine shop, we are able to quote on a wide variety of jobs, from prototypes to high volume contract work.

Common materials include Aluminium, Mild Steel, Stainless, Brass, Copper and Engineering Plastics.

We also have facilities to undertake full assembly work - we manufacture sub-components in house (and have quality approved sub-contractors for specialized finishes and treatments) and can ship a finished product complete.

We have customers throughout the United Kingdom (who we can ship to using our no-charge next day delivery service, following manufacture) and have experience in exporting to International markets.

History

Established in 1973 ACSL (Advanced Coil Slitters Ltd) is a family owned business, now in it's third generation of management. Initially set up to specialise in Coil Slitting, as our namesake suggests, we moved into manual lathe manufacturing and then CNC manufacturing which is has now been our speciality for 30 years.
