AMCS Internet sold us a package with a final figure but as time went on they where asking constantly for extra payments to complete the website which should have been included in the price. We would get a phone call from AMCS in the middle of the day saying that they needed payments for extra works which should have been included in the price we where originally given. We where told that Search engine Optimisation was included in the package and then got a call from AMCS asking for a payment of £1200 to pay extra for this. After several phone calls and a lot of very unpleasant conversations with AMCS they then said as a good will gesture they would reduce the cost to £900 !!! We felt completely robbed but had to pay this amount to try and get our website completed. AMCS never return calls, they only ever call when they want money !!! Even whilst the website was being built we where being charged for hosting, which should only have ever been charged once the website was completed. After finally completing the website after a very long and tiresome ordeal with AMCS the website was live for 1 month and then have noticed this evening that they have taken the website down with out any prior notice or contacting us. AMCS have continued to behave in a very unprofessional manner and fraudulent. The sales team at AMCS have no respect to their clients and have been very very rude and forcing their clients to pay more money over and over again for things that should have been included or client being informed about potential additional payments. It has been a nightmare to deal with this company and has caused me a lot of distress. I would highly recommend that people stay away and do not use this company. There are many many similar reviews like my own which speak for themselves and would say that if there are any good reviews that they are most probably not genuine. Reviews are so important as it helps protect others !
Small business owners, stay well away from these bunch of Cowboys.We were promised a better, customised page which would rank higher than our current page. What we got was a hastily cut and paste job, which we were then told we needed to change all the content as Google would rank it as a duplicate page.Furthermore, they then tried to tell us that we would have to pay extra for our keywords otherwise we would be left sitting on the 4th page of Google.I felt they tried to hold us to ransom and feel very relieved this nightmare only cost us £160...which we will never see again...The saleswoman was called Sarah...beware of her, she tells a good story - that she owns the company, and she lied from start to finish.We were promised this work would be complete within 1 week. It took them 9 weeks...Buyer beware....Avoid avoid. Shame they even get 1 star
AVOID AT ALL COST'S..... BASIC TEMPLATE WEBSITES... NOTHING BESPOKE ABOUT THEM.... IF HALF AS MUCH EFFORT WENT INTO THE DESIGNING AS DOES THE SELLING THEN WOULD BE GREAT
Avoid this company at all costs. I re-designed and website for a client who had used them, and they had been charged extortionate amounts, What started from £300 had ended up at over £2000 , they didn't do what they were meant to, the website was awful and i mean awful. We then requested that they transfer the domains to our own provider and they wanted £200 per domain and held the company owner effectively to ransom.I then requested that they 301 redirect the original domain to a new domain as there was no way i would let her pay these rip off and fraudulent fees.After 5 e-mails and 3 telephone calls they still won't do the redirect as promised.I am reporting them to both Trading Standards and contacting Nominet about transfering the domains. I have dealt with Nominet before over a similar situation and they resolved it for me so i expect the same will happen here.
My site came out looking good
Very poor service, this company rips people off. Don't waste your money. Like many others I have spent nearly £1500.00 with this company on a new web site to promote my business and all I have to show for my money is a holding page that advertises their services. This has been like this since April 2013. They don't return any of my calls or emails. Following the last email I sent stating I was very dissatisfied and wanted a full refund or I would seek legal action I eventually got an email back from a guy called Chris McCullough saying " Unfortunately, once a service is purchased, we are not able to offer a refund." Wish I had read up on all the negative reviews that this company has before I wasted my money. I recommend that you look elsewhere.
