About us

Brightman Clarke Architects is a small, vibrant architects practice based in Sheffield and Chesterfield. We have a passion for design and we are driven by a belief that well-designed spaces and buildings can improve people’s lives.
In 2016, the practice was formed by two directors, Chris Brightman (of Brightman Architects - awarded Best House Extension Architectural Firm in Sheffield - Build Architecture Awards 2016) and Jonathan Clarke (of JCAD – Jonathan Clarke Architectural Design). Brightman Architects, who were based in Sheffield, joined with JCAD in Chesterfield after successfully working together on a number of projects.
