Company Profile
Bronkhorst have been pioneers in the field of mass flow and pressure control for nearly 30 years and the huge depth and breadth of both our standard and bespoke product lines are a testament to the companies dedication to innovation, commitment to R&D, continual investment and pursuit of total quality.
From a strong position as the premier manufacturer within Europe, planned strategic growth has resulted in a truly world-wide organisation with Group companies now being located across the Far East, North America and of course still within the heartland of Europe. Furthermore, local JV companies, distributors and agents have formed an enviable network of support and service centres with representation now being present in over seventy countries across the world.
Bronkhorst UK Ltd has not only forged a strong reputation as a Mass Flow and Pressure control company but has also developed respect within the industry as a true solutions provider. Nothing typifies this better than the single-point responsibility taken with our liquid pump filling/dosage solutions that offer integrated, packaged assemblies of flow meter, pump, control system, accessories and associated cables.
The bespoke range of instruments offer an almost endless variety of configurations including manifold designs, multi-channel designs and partial mass flow, partial pneumatic solutions – all designed in partnership with our customers to meet specific OEM needs.
The standard range of instruments is also vast as can be seen as follows:
Thermal Mass Flow Meters / Controllers for gas. Flow rates from 0.02 ml/min to 186,000 LPM, pressure rating from vacuum to 700 bar, line size from 1/16” to 10”, analog and RS232 output with optional bus protocols (Profibus, DeviceNet, FlowBus, Modbus, Ethernet etc), laboratory, industrial and hazardous area (ATEX 1) designs.
Thermal Mass Flow Meters / Controllers for liquids. Flow rates from 25 nanolitres per minute to 20 litres per hour, pressure rating to 400 bar, line size from microbore to 3/4”, analog and RS232 output with optional bus protocols (Profibus, DeviceNet, FlowBus, Modbus, Ethernet etc), laboratory, industrial and hazardous area (ATEX 1) designs.
Coriolis principle Mass Flow Meters / Controllers for gas and liquid.Flow rates from 0.4 grams per hour to 1000 Kg per hour (higher on application, pressure rating from vacuum to 400 bar, analog and RS232 output with optional bus protocols (Profibus, DeviceNet, FlowBus, Modbus, Ethernet etc), density and temperature outputs, optional features including precise dynamic filling/dosing technology, pump control and freeware for the control and plotting of values.
Electronic Forward, Back and Differential Pressure Controllers for gas and liquid. Ranges from vacuum to 700 bar, line sizes as required, analog and RS232 output with optional bus protocols (Profibus, DeviceNet, FlowBus, Modbus, Ethernet etc), laboratory, industrial and hazardous area (ATEX 1) designs.
Magnetic Inductive (Mag-Flow) Meters/Controllers.Flow rates from <1 L/Hr to 3000 L/Hr, pressure rating to X bar, line size from 1.5mm to 12mm, high accuracy, 2000 readings per second, fast response, optional onboard batch controller.
Vortex Flow Meters for gas and liquid.Line size from 4mm to 25mm, flow rates from 0.4 LPM (liquid), 7.2 LPM (gas) through to 133 LPM (liquid), 850 LPM (gas), good accuracy, good rangeability, local indication when battery powered, pulse 4-20 mA and alarms with 12-45 Vdc power supply. Lite options available.
Variable Area Flow Meters with valve if required. A full range of high quality instruments is available, strong capability within tailor-made solutions.
Direct Liquid Source Evaporators for Controlled Evaporation and Mixing.Generally used for humidifying a process or introducing a liquid source for deposition/etch applications. Far superior performance to bubbler systems.
Complimentary products include laboratory and portable calibration equipment, pressure regulators, pressure gauges, ultra low- cost flow meters for filter usage and water monitoring, gas and liquid filters, valves, tubing, and other instrumentation packages.
Company activities include local sales and after-sales support, calibration and service facilities, support diagnostics, application engineering and user training courses including theory, product and practical application.
Served markets include aerospace, alternative / emerging power generation, analytical, automotive, biotechnology and pharmaceutical, chemical, filling dosing and batching, food and brewing, fragrance and flavours, fuel cell, glass production, hospitals and medical, marine, metals processing, military, nanotechnology, nuclear, oil gas and petrochem, optical fibre production, semicon/electronics, solar/photovoltaic, speciality gas supply, traditional power generation, universities R&D and technical institutes, water waste and sewage and welding technology.
