Raise the quality of your children’s role-play by viewing Early Vision’s fantastic ‘video visits’ to real life locations. At last children can watch, see and hear what real people do in the course of their work enabling them to discuss, plan and role-play together with knowledge and understanding. Linked interactive CD Roms, using only real life images – no cartoons - provide brilliant activities to take your children’s learning cross the whole curriculum.
Also Check out the Eco-Vision Series that is designed to inspire young children to become 'Eco Friendly'. Expertly linked to support the new Literacy Strategy for KSI and the EYFS. Four titles include 'Saving Energy', 'Recycling', 'Saving Water'.and 'Going Green'.
Designed by Practitioners for Practitioners:
Our team consists of Early Years Specialists trained in a variety of subjects with experience in Nurseries, Pre-schools and Schools. We therefore understand the demands put on Teachers and Practitioners to provide an informative yet enjoyable curriculum. Planning and preparation of new and interesting role-play areas is a time consuming task. That is why our Teaching Handbook includes role-play guidance , resource lists , suggested vocabulary and discussion points.
Primary Reception Classes
Early Vision films give an insight into real life scenarios. They provide each child with a common base. This inspires lively discussion by giving each the chance to express his/her opinion and share their personal experiences. Children will begin to take control of their learning and become involved in the planning and preparation of the 'new' role-play area.
Nursery School
When searching for support resources practitioners are often limited to fictional books, which are entertaining, but contain few references to 'real life' and often distort the children's sense of reality. Outings although valuable are often difficult to organise and implement due to health and safety restrictions. Early Vision films provide an 'on-screen' visit that presents reality to the children.
Playgroup / Preschools
Children learn so much by being given the time to explore the role-play area by themselves. Children gain more understanding by interacting with each other and discussing their own experiences. Children need to acquire more knowledge but adult intervention often oppresses imaginative play. Early Vision films provide the means of informing children in a less intrusive way.
