Kugel Motion is in the core business of the ball screw industry providing a repair and refurbishment service of ball screws and assemblies as well as supply new ball screws to MRO and OEM customers. As a leading UK specialist we are able to provide our customers with a technical assessment, provide guidance and advise on the best course of action for you, whether it would be a ballscrew refurbishment of a new replacement.

Ball Screw Repair & Replacement
Here at Kugel Motion we provide a ballscrew repair and ball screw refurbishment programme for existing ball screw assemblies. Our experienced and dedicated repair department provides a free of charge assessment, condition report and quotation for your ball screw repair or refurbishment. For all new ballscrews are assembly team design as ball screw that meets and exceeds the original specification. Ball screws are manufactured from quality stock shaft with ball nuts being made at our facilities in the UK.

Roller Screw Technologies for High Load Capacity and Longer Life
Satellite roller screws are able to take higher load capacities compared to conventional ball screws and are an ideal substitution technology for pneumatic, hydraulic and heavy load applications. This provides a highly accurate position, with increased stiffness at a lower total cost over the life of the unit. Moving to satellite roller screw technology lowers maintenance costs, removes the need for environmental safety measures and reduces the total operating costs through energy efficiency savings.

Our business relies on quality workmanship delivered on time every time and Kugel delivers this on every job, we can quote for ballscrew repair work safe in the knowledge that Kugel will deliver a quality repaired ballscrew within the time quoted and to a “near new” condition.Kugel has become our supplier of choice for both refurbished and new ballscrews, we originally sourced new ballscrews from the original ballscrew manufacturer however following extensive collaboration with Kugel they supplied new replacement ballscrews for a machine project, the ballscrews worked better than the originals improving surface finish and reducing circularity errors to under 0.010mm. We now use Kugel for both refurbished and new ballscrew supply.
