About us

Murray Equipment Co. Ltd, founded in 1953, manufactures specialist, clinical seating for the NHS directly from Arundel.

Providing high-quality products at an exceptional value is what Murray's is all about. Clinical staff who have to sit for long periods, or in specific positions, benefit from our ergonomically designed seats by reducing back and shoulder pain. Hospitals throughout the UK use our seats in theatres, ultrasound rooms, maternity wards, dentistry wards, laboratories and many other clinical departments.

Fire safety regulations and ISO 9001 are met by all products. There is no latex in our seating, the upholstery is breathable, wipeable, and impregnated with antibacterial agents during manufacturing.

Murray's seatig is handcrafted in our Chichester factory, so we only make to order. The variety of optional extras and colours allows you to customise the seating to meet your exact needs. Because we are so confident in the quality of our products, we provide a 5 year warranty.

A good sitting position reduces daily fatigue and long-term RSI problems, thus reducing sick days, which reduces costs over the long run. It is our commitment to make sure that operatives receive the right type of seating for their specific tasks on a daily basis.

We can provide a selection of seating to your premises, so that your staff can determine which chair is most appropriate if you need several chairs.
