Job description:

The ideal candidate will have timber industry experience and will have a deep knowledge of the route to market for decking and cladding amongst timber and builders merchants.

You will work in a team of 6 and have 2 Regional Sales Manager reporting to you whose performance is your responsibility. 

You will need to be magnificent at building and maintaining relationships at senior levels and also be able to set and measure yourself against a range of performance KPIs. You will be passionate about composite materials and be able to see past the day-to-day challenges to deliver game-changing results by developing new sales outlets, by launching new products, by executing great marketing plans : all whilst working hand-in-glove with our chosen Distributor.

Role Description:

It is the National Account Sales Manager’s responsibility to lead the UK Sales Team to deliver against stretching growth targets with the end game of making the businesses products available to all builders and landscapers in the UK within a 25 mile radius. You will have shared access to the Sales Estimator and Sales Executive in the team to ensure that you have sufficient resource to meet customer expectations.

Key Skills & Experience:

* 10 years sales account management experience
* 5 years timber industry experience
* Proven leadership and management capabilities
* Customer relationship builder
* Awesome communicator, spoken and written, internal and external
* Carpentry or Engineering interest or hobby
* Willing to travel around the country to support customers each week
* Located within 45 minutes of Clacton-on-Sea Head Office
* Can use CRM systems to manage customers effectively and extract meaningful data
* Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint confident
