Food products, whether for human or animal consumption, are natural materials and may show compositional, seasonal and color/particle size variations. This has prevented conventional on line NIR gauges from being used in measurement for control. However NDC has derived robust measurements, which are not affected by such issues and can be depended on for process control. While moisture is still the major need we are able to handle many other constituent measurements.
