About us

Secon is a specialised renewables distributor supplying high quality products to installers throughout the UK and Ireland.
We started trading in 1998 from the founder’s front room in Sunderland. The business started out in solar thermal and we are probably still the largest distributor in the UK for solar thermal equipment.
We are sole distributors for Resol solar controllers, PAW solar pump stations and Solarmetalflex solar pipe systems and we stock a huge range of solar products.
The business has grown substantially over the years and we have used our knowledge of renewables to expand our offer in to heat pumps and biomass ancillaries.
We are distributors for all the major heat pump brands: Panasonic, Samsung, Hitachi, Vaillant, Grant, Mitsubishi and Viessmann plus cylinders and buffers from Joule and Cordivari.
Our trade-only web shop is the largest dedicated renewables web shop in the country, carrying details of hundreds of products, all available to buy on line.
The business has been built on the back of exceptional customer service and all stock items are dispatched the same day for next day delivery to most of the UK mainland.
