The Ex England Cricketer Shares his Expertise with Radford Ezy Nets

Neal Radford, the England and county cricketer who retired in 1996, six wickets short of achieving one thousand during his career, puts his expertise to good use in the form of Radford Ezy Net.
Whilst Neal Radford was traveling around the world playing cricket for England and competing for Worcestershire, he noticed how primitive cricket nets were. Designed to be impractically permanent the nets could not be easily protected from the elements and were extremely difficult to move. In 1993, Neal launched Radford Ezy Nets, the designers and manufacturers of portable cricket nets.Today, Radford Ezy Net designs and builds net systems to suit clients needs, from test grounds to private homes where thousands of systems have been installed across the UK and as far a-field as the Caribbean. Last year they were ICC (International Cricket Council) accredited, having won the tender to install nettings systems across the entire Caribbean for the 2007 World Cup.
Besides outdoor nets, the company does a great deal of indoor netting systems for a range of clients and installs a wide range of Artificial Sport surfaces for football, rugby, hockey, tennis, cricket, MUGA and playgrounds. Neal commented, "We wish to supply unique quality goods with a world class service allowing us to see increased growth year on year."
Last August, the company embarked on selling Safety Cushioning and to date the business sells materials into home, nursery, retirement centres, leisure centres and business to stop children/persons hurting themselves should they stumble or fall against a sharp edge of a step, wall corner, pillar etc
The company is continuing to review itself and looking to bring differing offerings to the market place. They have recently taken out an exclusive agreement with TigerTurf AG to supply Radford Ezy Net with its own branded cricket carpet and are also in discussions with other manufactures about distribution agreements.
