Solid State Complete Major Project at Prestigious Food Store

When leading regional retailer Booths decided to open a flagship food store in Lytham, Lancashire, it called on the expertise of award-winning electrical installation company, Solid State, to perfect the installation of the life safety systems.
Lytham is the companys newest and most impressive store yet, covering two floors and boasting an extensive range of quality food including a fabulous delicatessen and a tempting selection of wine.
The store is also home to The Fylde Gallery, which currently showcases an important collection of Richard Ansdell paintings alongside the popular Artisan restaurant which serves locally sourced delicacies.
With shoppers expected to flock in their thousands to the store, the installation of the life safety systems was top priority and it was essential that a high quality fire alarm system be selected to ensure the safety of the public and the prestigious new buildings.
C-TECs powerful XFP analogue addressable fire alarm control panel was specified and now operates at the heart of the system, connecting to a vast range of Apollo XP95 detection devices selected specifically for their flexibility and dependability aligned with C- TEC manufactured loop powered base sounders.
Solid States speciality is tailoring cost-effective solutions specifically to a buildings needs and also considering the possibility of future expansion. The open protocol nature of the system and the flexibility of the XFP means that the system can always be interfaced with other equipment such as additional security alarms, CCTV and disability aids at a later date if required.

Booths scooped the prestigious title of North West England Regional Merchant of the Year after being assessed by the IWCs judges on its variety of wine, customer service, store layout, point of sale material, promotional material, marketing campaigns, online promotions and innovation.
