All change at the top as Gary takes the reigns

The senior management teams here at Grahame Gardner Ltd and Gymphlex Ltd have got a new look this season, as Group Managing Director and owner James Greenlees hands over the reigns to Operations Director Gary Lory.
After 25 years in the group and 12 years in this role, James is moving into the position of Executive Chairman of the group, appointing Gary in his place.Gary has worked for the family-run company since 2004, more recently taking charge of the Leicester-based firm’s operations across both the Grahame Gardner and GFORCE brands.
James said: “It’s with great pleasure that I welcome Gary into his new role as Managing Director of the Grahame Gardner and Gymphlex group.
“The company has been in my family since it was founded back in 1906, and I’m enormously proud of what we’ve achieved as a business since then.
“I now wish to focus on specific growth areas of the business in order to secure its long-term future, especially the launch of our Gymphlex leisurewear brand that has been so successful in Japan for the last 20 years, and as such needed someone to take over the day-to-day running of the group.
“I’m certain that Gary, with his extensive knowledge of our brands and our customers’ requirements acquired during the last 12 years with us, will take the company’s success even further across both the uniforms and sportswear sectors.”
Gary, said: “I’m honoured to have been named Group Managing Director. It’s an exciting time for the organisation and I’m looking forward to upholding its reputation for innovative garment design and production, while staying true to the company’s family values which have run through the business since it began more than a century ago.”
