Working closely with design firm People In Space and contract furniture specialists Inside Out Contracts, Oakman Inns has achieved a well-appointed reputation for stylish dining; with each venue uniquely characterised by its distinct interiors and furniture.Located within the Home Counties, the modern venues offer artesian coffee and innovative culinary menus, focusing on high quality ingredients set against high quality interiors. Combining restaurant, pub and café in contemporary design-led spaces, The Oakman Inns ethos welcomingly advances the advent of the gastropub era.
Twin restaurants, The Beech House, located in St Albans and Beaconsfield are among the company’s award-winning venues, featuring expansive dining and lounge spaces carefully adorned with contemporary armchairs, stools and sofas. Chosen for comfort and style, the collection of furnishings include Italian-made seating, bespoke booths and solid wood stools which build on the mix of a Nordic-urban scheme.
The Globe Inn, Warwick features handsome interiors, complete with a unique selection of furnishings from plush upholstered barstools and chairs in rich red leathers, to solid wood parquet tables and copper pendant lights. Also incorporating a number of boutique guest bedrooms, this Inn carries the signature luxury of an Oakman Inns experience, cleverly converting a small town pub into a lavish setting for overnight stays, events and casual drinks.
Newly-refurbished, the Navigation Inn, Cosgrove and Kings Head, Ongar are among some of the Oakman Inns’ most ambitious projects to date. The famous Kartell Masters chair in black completes the Kings Head designer-edge alfresco area, whilst inside a mixture of caramel, chocolate, copper and marble sets the tone for informal yet sophisticated dining. Combing idyllic canal views with a rustic feel, the Navigation Inn too provides a premium venue for diners. Solid wood contemporary chairs in dark walnut and moss green showcase the Inn’s luxurious and elegant appeal, confidently establishing a boutique-inspired setting.
