Zip launches eight new hydrotap colours, as metallics trend takes centre stage in british kitchen design

Launched in response to a growing metallics trend in British interiors, Zip, creators of the world’s most advanced drinking water appliances, has released eight new trend-led colours within its popular HydroTap Design Range.
Previously only available in Zip’s standard bright chrome, brushed chrome, matt black or gloss black finishes, the HydroTap Design Range was launched last year with the introduction of its Arc, Cube and Elite designs.The new collection - labelled the Platinum Design Range - now includes rose gold, brushed rose gold, gold, brushed gold, platinum, gunmetal, nickel and brushed nickel, and takes the HydroTap from a fantastic kitchen appliance to a striking design accessory.
“With metallics, in particular rose gold and yellow gold, set to remain a key interiors trend well into 2017, we’ve seen an increased demand for a much wider range of metallic finishes on our taps,” says Russell Owens, Zip marketing director.
“Those updating or renewing their kitchens want accessories to reflect their own personal design preferences, or even match their kitchen’s existing metal accents. Whether it’s Scandinavian-inspired rose gold, an industrial gunmetal grey or a classic yellow gold, our new Platinum Design Range does just that.”
The new range of taps not only look at home in any design-led kitchen, but also deliver on performance. Benefiting from the advanced functionality of the HydroTap, consumers can choose filtered boiling, chilled and sparkling water – or any combination to suit their needs – at the touch of a button.
The HydroTap’s market-leading and highly cost-efficient filtration system also offers x25 better filtration than a water filter jug, producing water that’s crisp, clear and refreshing.
Available to order now, the new colour range is available on the entire Design Range of HydroTaps, including the Arc, Cube and Elite, as well as the Celsius HydroTap mixer tap, which is available in the Arc and Cube.
