Andrew Tilleys' responsibility for customers in the aerospace and defence sectors making him the ideal candidate for the new post of Military and Aerospace Manager.
Since joining R. A. Rodriguez as Bearings Product Manager in 2007 Andrew Tilley has been responsible for many customers in the aerospace and defence sectors. The knowledge he has acquired has therefore made him the ideal candidate for the new post of Military and Aerospace Manager within the company.The main products in Andrews' armoury continue to be KAYDON® bearings, a range that has been central to the R. A. Rodriguez business for more than forty years. They have formed a product platform on which the company has built an enviable reputation for providing dedicated solutions to the military and aerospace sectors. Over the years more product ranges have been added into the mix.
These include a wide range of slewing ring (turntable) bearings – typically used for turrets on armoured vehicles, from KAYDON® and other manufacturers. These can be either standard catalogue design or custom designed to suit. Also other custom bearings to meet special military application requirements are available.
In addition to providing the right products, the companys' continued success in this field can be largely attributed to its engineering expertise. This ensures every design and performance requirement of these special applications is fully addressed.
