Vulcascot launch Paxolin, low cost rigid insulation board

Paxolin an easy to machine brown board usually required in 6mm thickness, is still the electricians favourite material for low voltage insulation.

With a strong and rigid construction this competitively priced board from Vulcascot also has very good electrical properties and is therefore an ideal substrate for mounting thermal boards, mounting plates. bus bar supports and cable supports.

Generically referred to as Paxolin, Vulcascot is the largest stockist of industrial laminates with products to suit all applications. Their own brand sheet material is a classical thermal class Y material having an operating temperature of 90oC and is known throughout the electrical industry as, Vulcapas P1.This particular grade is tried and tested over 30 years and is a classical stalwart of low voltage electrical insulation.

Vulcapas P1 is available in the more traditional 1220x1220mm sheet size or alternatively 2440x1220mm in thicknesses from 0.5mm- 75mm.

Vulcascot are stockists of many other grades of electrical insulating sheet which includes Vulcapas in additional grades conforming to BS 2572/P2, 3 and 4,Vulcatex medium/fine weave cotton phenolic as well as epoxy glass FR4, G11 and high temperature materials that perform operationally at 200degs.C., There are also a number of speciality grades such as solid black Vulcapas, Chalkboard, Dry wipe boards and an extensive range of hard engraving sheets called Eurosign.
