The hospice will benefit from radio communications equipment, which will be provided free of charge. In addition, Wall to Wall Comms will also participate with a golf team of staff and clients in their upcoming charity golf day event and will provide ongoing on-site technical support when required.

Wall to Wall Comms is a caring company and is happy to contribute in the hard battle with life-threatening illnesses.

Wall to Wall Comms (ISO 9001:2008 certified and Link-Up and SAFE Contractor accredited) has been trading for 32 years in the Borough of Sutton and has gained an excellent reputation in the Radio Communications Industry.

It has been exciting to make this internal company decision that all in-house fundraising will be allocated to St Raphaels' Hospice exclusively.

Since 1987, St Raphaels' has offered the special skills of Hospice care to those facing life-threatening illness living in the boroughs of Merton and Sutton (predominantly Wimbledon, Merton, Sutton and Cheam). The service is completely free of charge, and provides high quality medical and nursing skills, as well as support to family and friends.

St Raphaels' fully recognizes and respects cultural, ethnic and religious differences and patients of all faiths or none, are welcome at St Raphaels.

St Raphaels' Hospice relies heavily on charity fundraising, donations and legacies and depends on the generosity of the local community to continue providing a high quality of care. It costs nearly £80,000 a week to keep the Hospice running.

More than 80% of income is spent on direct patient care, including medical and nursing salaries. They receive a grant of about 25% of those costs from Sutton and Merton Primary Care Trust (the NHS) but the rest must be raised from donations and fundraising activities.

Wall to Wall Communications CEO, Barbara Calvert;
