New Brochure shows how to be Clean... and Green

Engineering and manufacturing industries can now discover how to combine superior cleaning with environmental responsibility thanks to the new brochure for the Clean-Tek range

Aqueous cleaning provides a cost-effective alternative to using the potentially cancer-causing solvent trichloroethylene, more commonly known as trike. The Solvents Emissions Directive, coming into force on October 31, will restrict emissions of organic solvents, including trike.
Clive Ward, general manager of the Clean-Tek product range at Wheelabrator Group, said: “Implementation of aqueous cleaning techniques allows for fast, effective and high impact cleaning with efficiency exceeding solvent based products. Capable of removing grease and heavy-duty debris from components such as reconditioned auto parts up to titanium aircraft components, the Clean-Tek range is highly effective whilst eliminating concerns about worker safety and solvent disposal.
“This brochure brings together the innovative solutions we offer companies, including standard machines, customised cleaning options and supporting products, such as environmentally friendly water-based detergents.
“Companies have an environmental responsibility and we can help them fulfil this with efficient equipment, proven to perform just as well, if not better, than more dangerous methods, such as solvents.

The range is also supported by the Wheelabrator Plus aftermarket care programme, which includes training, machine servicing and maintenance and replacement parts and consumables.
