HCl resistance
Genevac evaporators are robust systems designed to be resistant to the most common solvents and acids used within the chemistry laboratory, including TFA, DCM (methylene chloride), and DMSO.
Sample Protection
SampleGuard and SampleShield temperature control are found on HT High Throughput systems and EZ-2 personal evaporator series. These technologies monitor and control the maximum temperature of the samples to protect them from any possibility of overheating when evaporation is complete. The unique Dri-Pure system prevents solvent bumping and therefore loss of product.
High Speed Evaporation
CoolHeat technology dries samples rapidly while the high speed vapour pumping mechanism maintains low sample temperatures during evaporation.
The revolutionary SpeedTrap cold trap provides high performance solvent trapping having a high power compressor running at -50°C and is incredibly simple to use.
Patented Rocket Technology, used in the Rocket series evaporators, enables very fast evaporation with the highest levels of safety for both user and sample.

A wide range of sample holders capable of accepting a full range of tubes and vials, and flasks up to 500ml, is available. Many can be integrated with other laboratory automation systems. Bespoke Faststack holders for microtiter plates along with unique, flexible heat transfer plates can halve evaporation times with deep well microtiter plates and microtube storage racks. In addition, SampleGenieTM flasks comprise a unique flask and sample holder technology which enables large volume samples to be dried or concentrated directly into the small vial of your choice.

EZ-2 4.0 Standard
Standard version is recommended for solvents with boiling points up to 120°Cand ideal for evaporating volatiles.
EZ-2 4.0 Plus
Plus version is recommended for solvents with boiling points up to 165°C and ideal for evaporating HPLC fractions.
EZ-2 4.0 Elite
Elite version is recommended for solvents with boiling points up to 202°C and suitable for evaporating high boiling point solvents and lyophilise aqueous based samples

miVac is a range of centrifugal vacuum concentrators and freeze driers capable of removing water and organic solvents from a variety of sample formats including tubes, microplates, and vials. Built-in methods optimise the concentration of water and water mixtures, while a range of accessories improve performance and reduce time even further.
miVac DNA
The miVac DNA is an ideal small vacuum concentrator for the molecular biology laboratory.
The miVac DNA is capable of removing low volumes of water and organic solvents from a variety of sample formats including tubes, microplates, vials and round bottom flasks. miVac Duo and Quattro
The miVac Duo and Quattro are suitable for use with a wide range of solvents, from volatile organic solvents through to water and some of the higher boiling point solvents. They are compatible for use with variety of sample formats including tubes, microplates, vials and round bottom flasks, making them ideal ‘work-horse’ concentrators for the busy lab. Rocket Evaporators
Rocket technology enables the rapid evaporation of larger volumes of solvent in parallel and without supervision. The system controls the whole process, temperature, duration, prevention of bumping and foaming, and stopping the method at the correct point, be that concentrated or fully dry.
There are two systems available:
Rocket Synergy is designed to dry or concentrate six flasks in parallel, each containing up to 450ml of solvent. Alternatively, up to 18 ASE vials can be used. If you are running 3 or more rotary evaporators at the same time, then the Rocket Synergy is for you.

The Rocket Synergy 2 high speed evaporator is designed to dry or concentrate up to six flasks, each containing a maximum of 450ml of solvent, or 18 ASE® vials, with no user intervention or attention. The removable flask rotor may also be replaced with a 5 litre stainless steel vessel for batch processing. It is five times faster than other ‘intelligent’ evaporators and is capable of replacing several rotary evaporators, saving valuable bench space.
