Coloured Wrap-Around Cable Labels

To complement our engraved labels, we also provide very high quality, printed wrap-around cable labels. Our labels are thermally printed onto vinyl, which has two benefits; thermal printing is very durable and vinyl has no “memory” so once it is wrapped around a cable it will not try to un-wrap itself.

Simply call or email us your number sequence (start and end is sufficient if sequential) and we will supply the printed wrap around labels in an easy to use strip format.

Labels are sold in sets of 4, meaning minimum waste.
Your number sequence is printed onto the coloured surface at the top of the label. The rest of the label is made from a clear, adhesive vinyl which wraps around the cable to self-laminate and protect the printed surface.

Water resistant, heat resistant and excellent adhesion.We have a range of sizes to suit your cable width.

Established in 2009, Ask Engraving is a specialist in bespoke labelling for the data network cabling, IT, telecoms, electrical and engineering industries. We specialise in laser engraved labels such as patch panel labels, outlet labels, cabinet labels, electrical labels, warning labels and tie-on labels. We also produce various printed options as well, such as thermal wrap-around labels, blown fibre tape and electrical hazard stickers.

With years of experience in the labelling industry we have worked with a large number of businesses, supplying professional labelled solutions for their cabling installations. Companies we have produced labels for include Microsoft, John Lewis, Google, Network Rail, The MOD, Barclays, The London School of Economics and The Metropolitan Police to name a few.

In order to produce high quality laser engraved labels it is important to stay up to date with the latest technology and machinery. Our laser engraving machines are state of the art and are exceptionally accurate in producing the finest detail. The material we use is micro capped acrylic (Traffolyte style, only better) formed with a core layer which is then capped with a contrasting colour. The laser cuts away the text in the surface to reveal the colour beneath. This provides a very durable, professional looking label which will not fade. Labels are backed with a strong 3M adhesive, which ensures that once they are in place they will not fall off.
