Automation24 GmbH was founded as an internet mail-order shop for automation technology in the year 2011. We started live operation of our webshop in June 2012 and offer our customers more than 2,000 items from well-known manufacturers such as ifm electronic, Phoenix CONTACT, di-soric, Siemens, Eaton, Wago, Murrelektronik, WIKA, DATALOGIC, microsonic, SONTEC, FIBOX, Selec, HARTING, LED2WORK and Cube (Murrplastik) as well as high-quality products of our own brand Automation24.
 
As a start-up company in the field of automation technology we benefit to a high degree from the many years of experience and success of our owners. Thus we can create an optimum product portfolio to meet our customers' requirements with regard to quality and price, particularly in times of high cost pressure.
 
PRODUCT PORTFOLIO
 
Customers can purchase products from the fields of position sensors, process sensors, control systems, industrial controls, protection equipment, operate and observe, connection technology, drive technology and power supply from us at unbeatably low prices.
 
The product portfolio is made up of inductive sensors, photoelectric sensors, capacitive sensors, cylinder sensors, ultrasonic sensors, flow meters, pressure sensors, manometers, temperature sensors and level sensors, switch disconnectors, coupling relays, main contactors, contactor and monitoring relays, motor starters, variable speed starters as well as circuit breakers and residual current operated circuit breakers, circuit breakers for motor protection and electronic load circuit breakers. Logo! Mini controllers, control and signalling devices, switched-mode power supplies for voltage supply, connection technology with cables and jumpers, connectors, terminal blocks, sensor/actuator boxes, cables, cable protection, cable fixings and insulation for electrical wiring, industrial lights and machine luminaires as well as accessories complete our range.
 
DISTRIBUTION CHANNELS
 
As an internet mail-order business the focus of our sales activities is on the sales channel internet and in particular on our webshop. Customers can order, get technical information, participate in competitions and benefit from other services such as tracking of their consignments and returns management 24 h, 7 days a week. The comprehensive product descriptions also include product photos with zoom function and partly with a rotating 360° 3D image. To experience products in this unique way you only need a pair of 3D glasses which you can order here free of charge. The availability of our items is displayed in real time so that we can usually guarantee delivery of available items within a very short time.

Our innovative business model

The Internet has already found its way into most areas of life. Even in daily business it has become indispensable to exchange and obtain information. Not only business coordination and communication but even simple forms of procurement such as the ordering process on the Internet are becoming increasingly important. We wanted to meet this trend, so beginning in 2011 we have gone with our business model to the market. The idea is based on the realization of an international online shop for standard automation technology products with a low-price strategy.

Who we are targeting

The target groups are small and medium sized firms in the fields of mechanical engineering, construction and development, manufacturing as well as electrical trades and public institutions such as universities, for example. Our products are sold exclusively through our online-shop automation24.co.uk, via telephone, fax, e-mail and other online platforms. We feel that a sales team in the field with a network of branch offices and costly trade fair presentations are an unnecessary expense. The resulting cost advantage is directly passed on to you. Only in this way will you save on small quantities from the very first piece without surcharge, an average of 25-30% compared to the recommended retail price.
