About us

Briggs Industrial Footwear Limited t/a Briggs Safetywear was incorporated in 1944 and was known for it's high quality footwear and safety footwear. It then focussed entirely on the safety footwear sector, creating innovative, highly technical safety footwear for the Industrial, Trades and Agricultural sectors. In the early 2010's Briggs became part of a multi-national organisation called SuperHouse Group PLC with a presence in 35 countries worldwide, 20 manufacturing plants and a combined group turnover of over $350M.

Our place within the group ensures we have direct access to it manufacturing facilities, meaning we have complete control of Quality, Design and Manufacturing from our Head Office in Leicester, UK.

Our brands are Himalayan, Unbreakable and Proforce.
