The role is predominantly office based although some UK travel for customer and reseller meetings may be required.
To work as part of a small team providing desk based sales management for channel partners. The ideal candidate will have experience of selling communications solutions including Fixed line voice and data, Mobile and unified communications into business of all sizes. Experience of managing sales channels for a communications vendor or distributor is preferred. The role is based primarily within the Thirsk HQ working closely with the pre sales and marketing team to ensure maximum performance from allocated sales channels. There is scope within the role to manage a small internal team in the future and will report directly to the Sales Director.
The role requires attention to detail and a good understanding of sales processes and management. The successful candidate will help resellers produce quotes and articulate the business benefits of the product. A technical appreciation of communication technologies is desired although full technical support is given. Microsoft office and general computer skills are required. Experience of using Customer Relationship management tools and producing executive level reports is expected.
