Thermal Management
Improving Airflow Management in Data Centres and Enterprise IT environments is vital to improve their energy efficiency. Correctly cooled as well as being more energy efficient, cooling can be optimised which enables densities to be increased and helps prolong the lifespan of IT equipment.
EDP Europe provides solutions that assists in this optimisation, and includes:
- KoldLok Raised-Floor Grommets – A range of specially designed floor grommets that effectively seal cable openings and increase airflow pressure beneath the raised floor and prevents air leakage from cable openings.
- Triad floor grilles with their unique design that improves air delivery in front of server racks.
- Blanking panels to seal unused rack space. This prevents hot exhaust air from circulating back to the front of the rack and includes leading solutions from HotLok, EziBlank and PlenaFill.
- Air Barriers - A variety of air barriers to prevent the mixing of hot and cold air streams. These barriers include PlenaForm for isolating areas within the plenum under the raised floor. RackSEAL for sealing gaps between the mounting angles and sides of racks and EziBlank Wall for filling gaps in alises where racks have been moved.
- Switch Cooling - Network switches are typically mounted in the rear of cabinets and are inefficiently cooled. EDP Europe provides solutions to rectify this.
- Aisle Containment - EDP Europe designs, manufacturers and installs custom-designed Hot Aisle Containment and Cold Aisle Contaiment systems in new-build, retro-fit or Hyperscale Data Centres.
- Water Cooled Cabinets – In high-density computing environments EDP Europe provides water cooled solutions either via Rear Door Coolers or In-Row Coolers.
