GJ Medical (part of the GJ Engineering Group), are located in Oldham and we manufacture a range of portering chairs, commodes, day chairs, phlebotomy chairs, medical trolleys and hospital equipment, supplying their broad range to customers within the health authorities, the MOD, the WRVS, social services and nursing homes throughout the UK and abroad.

With many years experience in the healthcare industry we have developed our seating range through constant consultation with occupational therapists, hospital porters and clinical staff within the medical industry.

Please accept my thanks for all of the hard work you and your colleagues have put in to the Porta Rainbow Wheel Chair. From the time of our first contact up to and including the prototypes you have sent through I have been very impressed with your professionalism. It was obvious from the outset that you were excited at the prospect of taking on this project. This excitement is obvious for all to see in the final version of the chair. It has been a pleasure working with you on the design and manufacture of this chair. You obviously understood the brief and subsequent changes we requested were all incorporated without straying from the initial idea. I had a picture of what I wanted in my head and you have been able to turn that into reality. The addition of the multi coloured panels were inspired and you should congratulate whoever came up with the idea. I look forward to continuing to work with you in the future.
