Mike Ashby Comms is owned by Michael Ashby t/a Mike Ashby Comms. I am a sole trader with over thirty-eight years of experience in the repair of two-way radios. I offer a fixed price, postal repair service, for walkie talkie two-way radios, including repairs to licence free radios, both of the consumer and PMR types. This includes repairs to many makes and models including Motorola, kenwood, Vertex, Opus, Kirisun, Cobra, Hytera and Icom, to name a few.

All repairs are carried in the fully equipped workshop using genuine parts from the large stock carried. Servicing of working radios is carried out from £10.50 per unit, enquire for a firm quotation. Customers come from many sectors including schools, businesses, farmers, shopping centres, security companies, individuals and hospitals. This service covers the UK and many EU countries, faulty equipment can be posted or sent via a courier service to the address on the “Repair Form”. This is available to download as a PDF from the website. A no fix, no fee policy is followed and I do not charge to inspect equipment. Mike Ashby Comms also offers a repair service for six-way bank chargers, including repairs to the external and internal switch mode power supplies with prices starting from £35.00. Earpieces are available to purchase online among some other bits and bobs.

Mike was polite and helpful when it came to repairing my XTNiD that is used on the farm. Radio came back clean and fully working. Could of been a bit quicker on turn-arourd, but otherwise no complaints.
