Reporting to the Sales Director you will be responsible for targeting and winning new equipment sales of the Company’s products and services in your region.
 
Management Responsibilities
 

  • Supporting the regional sales managers with the goal of achieving the divisional order intake and sales KPIs
  • Working with the Sales Director to identify and implement improvement plans for any regional sales managers not meeting set targets/KPIs
  • Support Regional Sales Managers where needed with customer meetings to secure orders
  • Reporting to the Key Leadership Team on weekly/monthly/quarterly sales activities 
  • Manage the Regional Managers including but not limited to holidays, appraisals and development plans 
The main requirements of the role are to:
 
  • Successfully manage a field based sales team
  • Work collaboratively with internal and external customers
  • Develop a team sales plan
  • Develop an Account Business Plan
  • Target & secure both new Customers as well as develop relationships with all existing Customers to deliver sales targets by way of building and maintaining maximized levels of order intake & profitability.
  • Consistently deliver agreed targets through strong and focused account plans.
  • Ability to effectively work from a Home Office as well as attend any of record UKs 5 regional offices in England & Scotland and European manufacturing hubs as and when required.
Essential Criteria:
  • Previous experience of managing a successful field based sales team
  • Excellent collaborative working with internal and external customers
  • A proven track record of successful specification sales gained with a specialist contractor within the Construction Industry.
  • Abilities as both “Hunter” and “Farmer” re new & existing Customers.
  • Playing a lead role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new clients.
  • Ability to quickly understand the Company’s product range and USP’s so as to be able to effective manage technical sales negotiations.
  • High level influencing and negotiation skills up to Director level resulting in demonstrable sales success.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of close knit Sales Team as well as remotely.
  • Highly self-motivated.
  • Good Interpersonal skills.
  • Act as the key interface between the Customer and all relevant divisions including Operations, Service, Production & Finance.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Responsibility for business plans for all current and opportunity tender business.
  • Monthly Management Reporting to the Board of Directors.
  • Full driving license and willing to travel throughout the UK as well as to agta record’s operations & manufacturing facilities across Europe.
Additional Information:
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
  • Holidays: 25 days and 8 public holidays
  • Contract: Permanent after 3 month probationary period
