About us

Founded in 1969, Pulsar Instruments plc was formed to provide the noise measurement and noise monitoring industry with a range of sound level instruments used in the workplace. We have over 40 years experience in providing compliant, common sense, practical knowledge in noise control, noise measurement and sound monitoring for a variety of applications.

As a leading specialist in noise and sound levels, Pulsar Instruments has been focused in producing sound level measurement instrumentation that is robust, easy to use, accurate and fully compliant with latest legislation – today IEC 61672

Designed with health and safety in mind, our range of sound level meters, noise meters and noise dosemeters achieve compliance in the workplace ensuring sound levels are kept to a reasonable safety level for workers and employees. Sound levels can be maintained using a sound meter which requires minimal training and is easy to use.

Pulsar Instruments are also focused in providing complete customer care ensuring potential customers have complete confidence when choosing the right instrument for their workplace. In addition, for existing customers we provide additional training and guidance in the use and maintenance of their chosen noise monitoring equipment.
