Who Are We?

Founded in Hertfordshire, Setter Play Ltd is a friendly, family-run business with a wealth of experience. With over 26 years of experience, we are a friendly team of professionals who consider no project too big or small.

Having manufactured specialist play equipment since 1997, we achieved the British Standards Institute Kitemark in 2000. With our high-quality play equipment and educational programs, this was a huge achievement for us!

At Setter Play, we strive to exceed your expectations and ensure you receive the best customer service possible. We design playground equipment to suit your environment, allowing children of all ages to be creative and use their imaginations as they play and learn!

How Does The Process Work?

Five simple steps are all it takes. You will have the opportunity to discuss your initial ideas with one of our experts during the consultation. In this consultation, a plan will be created, taking into account any permissions needed before the installation of your play area, and then we will put pen to paper. We strive to achieve the best possible outcome by incorporating all of your ideas at Setter Play! Having decided how you want your play area to look, it's up to the Setter Play team to create and install your equipment!

  • 05/10/2023 - Enormous play project completed in Oxfordshire
    SS Philip and James Primary School chose Setter Play to completely redevelop their grounds, and we were hugely grateful to be selected for such a transformative, expansive and exciting playground project
  • 08/08/2023 - Pre-School Play Area completed in Hertfordshire
    Setter Play were commissioned by our local pre-school to completely redesign their outdoor spaces, with an aim to refresh their adventure-play and imagination-play provisions and also improve all-weather access throughout the space.
  • 07/07/2023 - EYFS Play Area completed in Birmingham
    Brookfields Primary School commissioned Setter Play to transform their EYFS play area, which was completely bare and ripe for a vibrant transformation.
  • 14/03/2023 - New Play Areas for Milton Keynes Primary Pupil Referral Unit
    Milton Keynes Primary Pupil Referral Unit asked Setter Play to design all of the play areas in their newly established site, ensuring to create a well-rounded mix of provisions that their pupils can enjoy all year round.

I have had the pleasure of using Setter Play on many occasions in the last 5 years and have been delighted with the outcomes.Each project was carefully planned and Jonathan really listens to what you want and helps you to decide on the best for the children and the best value for the school.All the apparatus purchased was of a high quality and looks as good today as the day it was installed.The summer house we purchased also is high quality but at a reasonable price.The planning for the installation each time has been exemplary.Contractors kept to the timescale, were pleasant throughout the time on site and the work was carried out to high standard and in record time.It was a pleasure to do business with Setters and I would highly recommend them to anyone.
