This is an excellent opportunity for a Blasi engineer to move into the role of leading a team of engineers.

Management Tasks

• Support the profitable growth of our Special Projects business by acting as a senior member of the team to manage and deliver our Blasi projects end-to-end: From inquiry, through to sale & hand-over.
• Be responsible for a team of field engineers, supporting them with all aspects of installation leading to efficiency in the field.  This will include coaching, training, van stock, holiday approvals, sickness monitoring, Health and Safety and performance within your team.
• You must be able to identify gaps in product knowledge, ability, skills and be able to identify solutions to problems that arise in the field.
• You must be confident to deliver toolbox talks and training supplied by management to your team of service engineers.
• You will be responsible for ensuring your team are adequately completing all forms of paperwork from worksheets and timesheets to customer specific paperwork.
• As one of the lead engineers it’s important that knowledge and feedback is shared to optimise our working standards. You will lead conference calls regularly with your team. Attend meetings as required. 
• You may be asked to perform additional tasks which are considered reasonable by the Senior Management.

Day to Day Tasks

• You will be required to work on the installation of automatic door systems and aluminium shopfronts.
• Working from the Farnborough hub you would be expected to travel across our Southern area, working as part of a team but also undertaking work individually.
• You would liaise with a Senior Project Resource Manager on a daily basis for the scheduling of work and will be expected to provide completed paperwork daily.
• You will visit customer’s premises and active construction sites to carry out installation projects on a variety of Record automatic door products and shopfronts.
