About us

TenCate Advanced Composites, UK, develops and manufactures performance composite materials. Located in the East Midlands it is ideally positioned to service both the UK and European markets.

TenCate provides materials and technical expertise to a number of industries; these include aerospace, motorsport, automotive, industrial and marine. Historically well known for its strength in composite tooling, the TenCate AmberTool product range was launched in September 2013.

TenCate's success is based on the principles of developing the highest quality material, providing service that goes above and beyond the expected, and being responsive to customer needs.

In January 2013 TenCate acquired Amber Composites to reinforce its activities in thermoset based materials in the European market. From its base at Langley Mill, it operates within the TenCate Advanced Composites group specialising in thermoset composites material manufacture and support the growing needs of the industry. It will also enable the composites market to have access to thermoset systems currently only produced out TCAC USA facilities. This will extend the
former Amber product portfolio into new markets like aerospace, space and communications whilst reinforcing the current activities.
