iiaa Announces Salon of the Year UK Award Winners

The iiaa, distributor of professional beauty products, celebrated its annual Salon of the Year Awards recently. The glamorous champagne and afternoon tea reception was held at The Dorchester in London. Finalists from the UK and Ireland joined the iiaa team and guests at the event, which recognised the most successful stockists of the jane iredale, Environ and Advanced Nutrition Programme brands.
The guests also enjoyed an inspiring talk by Debra Searle MBE, a young adventurer and entrepreneur who epitomises the drive and spirit of enthusiasm needed to succeed in any endeavour.A new Salon of Excellence award was created to reward a stockist who has fully embraced the iiaa skincare philosophy to ‘feed, fortify and finish’ with passion, integrity and commitment. Managing director David Alpert presented the trophy to Tessa Stevens Health & Beauty Clinic whose holistic approach to skincare is delivering the best results for its clients.
Owner Tessa, whose salon was also a finalist for jane iredale and Environ awards, said that the training, support and events the iiaa provides is vital to the success of her business: “Clients need nutrition and skincare and make-up, so it makes sense for clients to buy it all in one place. When the girls from iiaa come and do make-up and skin analysis events for us they inject so much into our team. That motivation is the most inspiring thing of all. No other skincare company out there does that . The training is fantastic, I am a great believer that if you keep investing in your team then you can’t go wrong. “
The Advanced Nutrition Programme Salon of the Year trophy was presented by head of nutrition at the iiaa Lorraine Perretta to Face the Future, Wakefield.
iiaa training director Tracy Tamaris presented the Environ Salon of the Year UK Award for three rooms and more to North London-based Face It, the salon’s eighth consecutive win. The Environ UK award for two rooms and less went to Peach on the Hill, West London.
The jane iredale Salon of the Year UK Award for three rooms and more was awarded to Clarity Laser, North London by brand manager Emma Doherty, while the UK trophy for two rooms and less was received by Red Leopard, West London.
