Power Energies sparks quality enquiries for Fine Tubes

08 October 2012

Fine Tubes’ attendance at the Power Energies 2012 exhibition in Avignon, France has generated great interest in the company’s product range of high precision tubes for the nuclear & power industry.

With a pedigree of developing products for the nuclear industry dating back to the 1970s, the exhibition provided an excellent platform for the company to showcase its mission critical products including tubing for steam generators, heat exchangers and reactor fuel cans.

“Power Energies 2012 has been very successful and has provided a great opportunity for our company to generate quality leads, network with the nuclear industry’s major players and showcase our high quality precision tubes” reports Charles Ferreira, Business Development Manager of Western Europe who heads up the Fine Tubes Office in Orléans. “Our range of high specification tubes samples attracted a variety of industry professionals to our stand and the quality contacts we made in the various power sectors will help us to build upon our strong foothold within the French nuclear market.”

Power Energies enabled energy suppliers and professionals to exchange know-how, discuss future energy sources and exhibit pioneering products and solutions in the Nuclear & Power sector. As a UK based manufacturing company the exhibition was highly beneficial to Fine Tubes particularly in maintaining and establishing new connections within the industry.

Fine Tubes supplies its range of high specification nuclear products to the global market but on many occasions the business is concluded via French nuclear engineering companies where RCC-M code compliance is required.

As the UK’s leading manufacturer of high quality precision tubes in stainless steel, nickel, titanium and zirconium alloys, Fine Tubes has been developing innovative products for the nuclear and power industry for over 40 years. The company’s high specification tubes play a major role in ensuring high quality, long life-cycles, reliability and safety in mission critical applications such as nuclear fuel pins, power generators, heat exchangers, optical fibre cables, super pressure heaters and collectors in solar thermal power plants. Fine Tubes has the plant capacity to make quality assured tubing compliant with RCC-M, ASMEIII QSC and has a proven track record in helping the industry advance by developing new solutions.
