L-Com Ultra-Wideband 8 dBi Log Periodic Antenna from ITM

The L-Com 2.4 GHz to 5.8 GHz Ultra-Wideband 8 dBi Log Periodic Antenna - HG2458-08LP, is now available from ITM Components.

The HyperLink® HG2458-08LP is a high performance ultra wide band log periodic antenna made to operate from 2.3 GHz to 6.5 GHz. This Ultra-Wideband design dispenses with the need to purchase different antennas for each frequency. This allows a simplified installation process, since the same antenna can be used for a wide array of wireless applications where wide coverage is required.

The broadband characteristics of this Log Periodic antenna enables it to operate over a very wide frequency range, providing consistent gain. The HG2458-08LP is ideal for Distributed Antenna Systems, DAS. A DAS system is used to distribute signals operating in different frequency bands such as 802.11a/b/g/n or WiMAX throughout a building or area. This antenna features 8 dBi of gain and a 60 degree beam width.

The internal components of this Log Periodic antenna are enclosed within a UV-stable white fibreglass radome for all-weather operation. It is supplied with a swivel mast mount kit included.
