New High Power Optical Components

BBN International announces the new Optizone high power components for EDFA, fibre laser and instrumentation applications.
BBN International, the supplier of fibre optic instruments, components and consumables to aerospace, telecom, datacom and sensor markets, has just announced the release of the new High Power standard (HPII) and Polarisation Maintaining (HPMI) Isolators. The new isolators will handle 20W CW at 1064nm with low insertion loss, high isolation, high return loss, high extinction ratio and excellent environmental stability.BBN have also released the Multimode Pump Laser Protector which allows maximum transmission from a fibre coupled pump laser diode and blocks parasitic wavelengths from the fibre laser.
