Ultra Floor Serves up a Winning Performance!

Ultra Floor’s Level IT two smoothing underlayment and Prime IT N have been used to refurbish the office premises of a leading sporting goods distributor in Middlesbrough.
Ransome Sporting Goods holds the exclusive distributorship for the world’s leading table tennis brand, Butterfly and supplies a range of equipment including bats, balls and posts together with the tables themselves. Their office premises, headquartered in Middlesbrough, has recently undergone refurbishment using products from the Ultra Floor range.The work was carried out by flooring contractor, Flooring Developments Ltd, based in Stockton-On-Tees, who completed 770m² of subfloor preparation and Burmatex Cordiale carpet tile installation throughout the office areas, corridors and stair wells, using Prime IT N polymer emulsion primer and Level IT two, two part smoothing underlayment.
Prime IT N is a ready to use polymer primer recommended for use as a bonding aid. Used neat onto non absorbent substrates, it dries to give a tough, well bonded primer, ready to receive the cementitious smoothing underlayment. In this instance, it was applied to the dense concrete sub-base prior to leveling with Level IT two.
Level IT two, once cured, provides excellent surface strength and withstands minimal foot traffic whilst waiting to receive the floor covering - great for busy working sites where floor coverings may not be laid for several days after application. It provided a sound substrate on to which the carpet tiles could be laid.
Flooring Developments Ltd was given a two week window to complete the work, during which time the building was vacated to enable progress without interruption. This was accomplished thanks to the materials exceptional performance and ease of use.
