New ‘cruelty-free’ recognition for jane iredale make-up

20 February 2014

jane iredale has been certified cruelty-free by the Coalition for Consumer Information on Cosmetics’ (CCIC) Leaping Bunny Program, the leading internationally respected animal protection group.

The Program supports companies that are doing their part to help eliminate the cruel and unnecessary use of animals in the testing of cosmetic products and ingredients.

The initiative promotes a single comprehensive no animal testing standard and recognises companies that have committed to no new animal testing throughout their manufacturing process, from ingredients to finished products, and do not allow third party testing on animals for product registration or other purposes in countries like China where animal testing is required.

A commitment to no animal testing has always been at the core of the jane iredale brand which has already been acknowledged by PETA, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, the animal welfare organisation.

The Leaping Bunny logo, which is internationally recognised and highly regarded for its integrity and trustworthiness, will start appearing on the jane iredale packaging in the coming months.

The jane iredale range of cosmetics is recognised as being as good for the skin as it is beautiful to wear. For more information and stockists, go to www.janeiredale.co.uk or phone: 020 8450 2020.
