Harlequin will be demonstrating stage construction techniques at ABTT Theatre Show

Harlequin Floors stand at this month’s ABTT Theatre Show 2014 will feature demonstrations of various construction methods for stage floors and dance studio floors.

Harlequin will also feature a comprehensive range of floors for theatre, dance and events on stand 58 at the show which takes place 11th and 12th of June at The Old Truman Brewery in London.

Floors under the spotlight include Harlequin’s Liberty sprung floor system, in which panels are interlocked and secured utilising a patented keying system – ideal for touring shows as well as for permanent installation. Alternatively discover how a traditional wooden sprung floor, known as ‘basket weave’ due to the inter-woven batten construction, is built using modern techniques.

For anyone looking for a self-install option, then it is well worth a look at Vitality. Developed in response to calls for a self-install floor, the Harlequin workshop will give vital installation tips. In addition, learn how to correctly install floor mounted ballet barres in a dance studio.

Back on stage, the Harlequin demonstration will explain the methods of fitting dip traps and flooring specialists will be available to answer technical questions.
