Introducing the Loner Safety Monitoring Device

10 July 2014

New to the UK after establishing itself as a lone working market leader in North America. The system is so customisable that it can accommodate even the most unique organisational structures, helping you deal with lone working issues in your business once and for all.

The worker clips the device onto their waist and powers the device on. As soon as this happens the operator is safeguarded by four main alarms:

Emergency Alarm - activated by pulling a cleverly designed latch avoiding accidental false alarms
Silent Alarm - designed for hostile situations, a vibrating acknowledgement allows the operator to be assured help has been called for without alerting anyone in the surrounding area
Man-down Alarm - the Loner SMD can distinguish falls from other activities that can be expected in some manual job roles
No-motion Alarm - this sends a distress alarm when the operator hasn't moved for the pre-set timeframe.
The alerts are managed in a web-based portal, allowing access from any device, anywhere in the world.
