Brunei country club installs new dance studio

11 September 2014

Harlequin Floors has recently completed the installation of a sprung dance floor at the Panaga Club in Brunei.

Harlequin’s Warren Earl was on site to supervise the installation at the sporting, leisure and social facility complex operated by Brunei Shell Petroleum for the benefit of 1200 members of staff and their families. Located between Kuala Belait and Seria, the Panaga Club offers an extensive range of activities that now includes a professional dance studio.

The Panaga Club opted for Harlequin Liberty sprung floor panels, permanently installed to create a 13.7 x 18.5 m dance floor. Harlequin Liberty is a sprung dance floor constructed from panels secured in place using a unique ‘one turn of the key’ latch and lock mechanism. Providing the dance surface which is laid on the sprung sub floor is a light grey Harlequin Studio slip-resistant vinyl floor with a firm but lightweight foam backing. The vinyl dance surface was loose –laid using double-sided tape, then welded at the seams.
