Charles Bentley will be supporting local children’s hospice Rainbows

Charles Bentley & Sons Ltd, one of Loughborough’s top family firms, has announced that it will be supporting local children’s hospice Rainbows from February 2015 onwards.

Charles Bentley & Sons Ltd, one of Loughborough’s top family firms, has announced that it will be supporting local children’s hospice Rainbows from February 2015 onwards.

Charles Bentley & Sons Ltd, will be participating in a range of fundraising activities to support the children’s hospice. In addition to donating stock to help reduce the hospice’s maintenance costs, the company will conduct fundraising initiatives amongst its 175 staff in Loughborough and provide toys for the children at Christmas.

The organisation also supports 293 bereaved families and 579 siblings.

Through its outreach efforts into East Midlands paediatric oncology units, Rainbows is also caring for a growing number of the region’s children with cancer. Kate Golding, corporate fundraiser at Rainbows, added: “I would like to thank Charles Bentley & Son Ltd for supporting Rainbows by choosing us as its Charity of the Year. By teaming up with us, they are raising funds to help us run the hospice - fundraising efforts make such a huge difference to both the children at Rainbows and their families.
