Client Marketing

We love the marketing features in i-salon. For us, it’s these which demonstrate true value for money and measurable return on investment. We can see a real difference in client retention, repeat bookings and reduced no shows. i-salon is a brilliant sales and marketing tool. We can identify opportunities, such as searching for all colour clients and offer related services as a promotion.

Performance Improvement

The information we are now capturing in i-salon can be used to plan, target and improve performance in all areas of the business. Text reminders, birthday cards and our appointment booking call-centre have all helped us to improve client retention but we’re finding new ways to use i-salon all the time. We use the text messaging feature to send appointment reminders and promotions, which has reduced our rate of no-shows by over 60%. This is the equivalent of around £850 of additional revenue! In 2006 we launched our Cudmore & Co Recognition Card to our top clients based on average yearly spend and number of appointments.

Managing Appointments

Before we started using the Call Centre facility, client calls would reach the receptionists at each salon. With no distractions, our call centre girls can advise clients of the available appointments at both salons. Calls are answered immediately, and the sound of ringing phones is no longer a disturbance for our clients in the salon.

Stock Management

i-salon is a complete salon management system, which means that every element of the running of our business is done through the system. i-salon accurately records stock used in the salon and all retail sales, so we know exactly what stock items we have at any one time. We can see slow moving stock and best sellers, using this information to re-organise the retail shelves, set minimum stock levels and reminders to re-order.
