Renewing energy with every turn takes its toll

Further to the Kyoto conference, renewable energies are developing quickly but how to you make renewable energy, renewable?
Using wind to generate electricity is one of the main renewable energy sources. However, the investment in windmills farms is only profitable if the wind turbine farms offer significant energy production and long life expectancy.One of key concerns is the lubrication of the moving parts, as the significant weight of the rotor generates an critical constraint on the reducer. The correct lubrication of this rotor and moving parts has to be implemented if you want to avoid premature wear of the mechanism. There has to be measures in place or else the efficiency and profitability will be compromised.
A vibrating blades level detector offers a very reliable solution to protect the installation against the risks of dry running. Some vibrating detectors come with 40mm short vibrating blades, which allow it to be installed on almost any type of crankcase. Thanks to its millimetre near switching, it ensures durable functioning of the windmill farm, that does not require any maintenace.
The piezo drive is the heart of the sensor, activating the tuning fork to vibrate on its resonance frequency. The frequency of the fork reduces with the immersion. The frequency change is evaluated by the integrated electronics and converted into a switching signal.
An optimized screwed connection is used to ensure reliability and ruggedness of the piezo drive. With the tuning fork of only 40 mm length, they work reliably in all liquids independent of the installation position. Pressure, temperature, foam and bubbles do not influence the switching accuracy. This type of tuning fork also works reliably with changing density and viscosity.
The benefits of the lubricant include very small dimensions, long-term reliability, reproducible and process independent switching point and low cost switch with quick delivery.
