Electronics manufacturers' growth is Beacon for industry

30 January 2009

2008 saw another year of 20% growth for electronics company CT Production Ltd.

The continuous growth has secured the company's status as a Beacon company for the electronics industry which isn't surprising going by the feedback from their customer survey at the end of 2007 which concludes that CT Production offer quality products and rapid delivery at a fair price.

"Competitive procurement and production of batch to volume PCB and electronic products for a wide range of business sectors are our core business. However, we have recently introduced high quality equipment and processes for Xray and automatic conformal coating with UV curing. The latter has been especially popular, offering a clean, repeatable and more competitive solution to traditional ‘mask and overspray’ methods", Alan Trevarton, CT Production Managing Director said.

Examples of recent volume projects include an energy-monitoring product, won from Chinese competition, a new low energy lighting product with aluminium PCB substrate, and a new batch production GPS unit.

As an Investor in People, CT train their operators and technicians to IPC A 610 class 3 workmanship standards and, where appropriate, IPC A 7711/7721 rework, modification and repair standard using their IPC approved trainers. CT Production are approved to ISO 9001/2000.

"We have embarked on a programme of improvements as signatory to the aerospace industry’s 21st Century Supply Chain (SC21), plus Performance and Competitiveness (PAC) training for management and Business Improvement Techniques (BIT) training for other staff. We fully intend to continue to offer leaner and better services to our customers", Alan added.
