Extended Temperature Support for AAEON Embedded Boards Now available from RDS

RDS is pleased to announce that the full AAEON WiTAS line-up of motherboards is now available.
WiTAS refers to AAEON’s Extended Temperature support to a wide array of embedded boards across all form factors and platforms.It is divided into two categories that are determined by temperature range. WiTAS 1 relates to temperatures between -20oC to +70oC and WiTAS 2 relates to -40oC to +85oC. By implementing WiTAS, products are able to withstand harsher and more extreme environments.
Products receiving the WiTAS 1 upgrade include the PICO-BT01 embedded board with Pico-ITX form factor, the EPIC-CV07 embedded SBC, the GENE-CV05 3.5” sub-compact board and COM-QM77 the COM Express Type 6 module.
Products such as the PFM-CVS PC/104+ module, the GENE-BT05 3.5” sub-compact board and the COM-CV are all boosted with WiTAS 2 support. Plus, all these products are cooled using passive (fanless) thermal solutions.
These new boards are aimed at products that are typically found in transportation, factories, outdoor environments, military and other areas which are subjected to wide temperature fluctuations.
New WiTAS boards will be released over the coming months such as the EPIC-BTO7 W2, the COM-BTW2 and COM-SKHB6W2. Upgrades to these existing product lines means current users are able to extend the life and reliability of their existing systems.
